This Privacy Policy applies to Cedar Ridge Ventures LLC (“Cedar Ridge Ventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the Canning Vault application, and cedarridgeventuresllc.com. Canning Vault is designed as a local-first application.
2. Local-first app data
Personal recipes, favorites, pantry records, batch records, shopping-list information, achievements, settings, and similar app information are designed to be stored on the user’s device. This version of Canning Vault does not operate a Cedar Ridge Ventures cloud-account system for synchronizing that personal Vault information.
3. Backup files and images
Users may voluntarily export Vault backup files and choose where to save or share them. Cedar Ridge Ventures does not control third-party storage locations selected by the user. Users are responsible for protecting exported files and for reviewing the privacy practices of any storage or sharing service they choose.
4. Website and communications
When someone visits this website, our hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps, and security or request logs. If analytics or cookies are enabled, we will provide notices and choices where required.
We receive an email address and any information included in a message only when someone voluntarily contacts us. Please do not send sensitive personal information or a Vault backup unless specifically requested for support.
5. Advertising
Canning Vault may display advertising through third-party advertising providers. Depending on the provider, device settings, consent choices, and applicable law, those providers may process device identifiers, approximate location, advertising information, and app-interaction data. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies. Where required, users will receive consent or privacy controls.
6. Purchases
Purchases may be processed by Google Play or Apple. Cedar Ridge Ventures does not directly receive or store complete payment-card details. The platform’s terms and privacy policy apply to its processing of purchases, refunds, and purchase history.
7. Your privacy choices
Device permissions, advertising preferences, app storage, backups, and operating-system privacy settings can be managed through the device or applicable platform. Cedar Ridge Ventures does not directly sell personal information. Depending on applicable law and the services enabled in a future release, users may have additional access, deletion, correction, or opt-out rights.
8. Children
Canning Vault is intended for a general audience interested in canning, organization, and casual activities. Children should use the application with a parent or guardian where appropriate. We do not knowingly operate the app for the purpose of collecting personal information from children.

We use reasonable measures intended to protect services and information. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should protect their devices, accounts, and exported backup files.
